Dublin has become one of Europe\'s top city break destinations. Many low cost carries now operate flights on a regular basis to Dublin including Ryanair and Aer Lingus. Stena Line, P and O and Irish Ferries also operate from the U.K.

If you intend traveling in Ireland we recommend Car Rental Ireland for car rental during your visit. Rental cars can be collected at Dublin Airport or city center and dropped off at numerous locations around Ireland.

A regular Airport Shuttle bus operates on a regular basis from outside the main terminal and is quite inexpensive for the 10 mile journey to the city center. Alternativly normal buses also run from outside the terminal.

Taxis are also widely available at the Airport. A cab ride to the city center will cost approximately €20. Taxis are also available within the city and from most hotels and are quite easy to hail outside of peak hours between 2 and 4 am. Your hotel will be happy to call one on your behalf.

Buses also operate from all areas of the city. Most fares are prepaid and weekly or daily tickets can be bought at the main bus depot at Busarus Station or through the numerous Dublin Bus agents. The same goes for the over ground or DART train service. The city is currently developing an over ground tram system called LUAS.

Trains operate to Galway, Sligo, Cork and Belfast from Connelly or Heuston stations if you decide to venture further afield.
