Entertainment in Dublin
Dublin is one of Europe's most vibrant cities with loads to do and see. It is renowned the world over for its famous pubs, Guinness, choice of restaurants and its late night parties. Dublin is the world's most famous drinking city, and that of course is all down to the unique atmosphere and endless variety of its countless pubs. It is also as of mid 2004 a smoke free zone in public places including bars and restaurants. The city boasts a wealth of pubs, bars and nightclubs and has a reputation as a party city. Visitors can create their own pub-crawls, relax in a beer garden or enjoy a pint of "the black stuff" in the shadow of some of the great playwrights whilst mixing with the locals.

If it is food that takes your fancy again Dublin has something for all tastes and budgets. The city has a growing reputation for excellent restaurants. Some of these can be very pricey however. Again The Temple Bar area offers a bit of everything from Indian to Irish, Curry to Caviar and formal to casual. Many of the pubs also offer lunch at reasonable rates. Early Bird menus are also available at many city centre restaurants if you want to avail of better priced cuisine at a slightly earlier time.
When it comes to nightlife not many cities can match Dublin. The city is awash with late night bars, super-pubs and nightclubs. It has become home to many celebrity stars and often plays host to large celebrity bashes. Clubs cater for all music types. Simply ask you friendly barman where he would recommend. For visitors of a more tranquil nature many hotels provide bar music. When it comes to entertainment you won't be bored in Dublin.
